Ready to release the brands most premium bottling to date, Highland Park asked us to design & launch the new 50yo bottling. As the brands most expensive offering, the brief had a key objective - create a luxury product & roll out that stands out in the ultra rare whisky category while staying true to the newly established brand aesthetic.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Appealing to the luxury consumer, we doubled down on handcrafted artistry and celebrated attention to detail in every element of the design, film and photography.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Taking visual cues from the existing core range, the packaging featured bespoke illustrations and graphics inspired by ANCIENT NORSE CARVINGS. We went to town on materials and production processes to communicate premium from glass embossings and metal engravings to using crystal, leather and polished silver.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

We commissioned AWARD WINNING CRAFTSMAN JOHN GALVIN to create a bespoke HANDCRAFTED SOLID OAK BOX for each bottling. The age statement was individually painted onto each box.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

We created an award winning film as part of the launch campaign that celebrated the detail and opulence within the packaging. Working with legendary music producer Saul Davies, we created a bespoke soundtrack for the film. Placing the whisky centre stage, we see the spirit mysteriously self-transfer from the bottle into the crystal decanter.

 
 
 
 

We created a suite of product photography for use across all brand channels and advertising.
